Framing and Compositional Techniques

RULE OF THIRDS

I made the colors more saturated
and increased the grain a little bit.

 FRAME WITHIN A FRAME

I made the photo black and white, and I cropped it into a panorama format.

CLOSE UP

This photo was very edited, in that I changed the color and saturation of the rose, and I completely desaturated the background to make it black. I also zoomed in a lot on the rose to make it look more close up.

BUG'S EYE VIEW

I took this photo from a bridge, and I increased the saturation in the colors of the leaves and the car.

BUG'S EYE VIEW

I changed a lot of the hues in the sculpture and on the ground, and I also increased the saturation in a lot of areas.

LEADING LINES

I increased the color saturation a little bit and also increased the exposure.

DIAGONALS

I changed the color of the sky and windows and cropped the bottom of the building out.

FILLING THE FRAME

I completely changed the hue of the building and balconies, and I increased the grain. I also cropped out the trees on either side of the building.

Comments

  1. I love your diagonals photo and the colors that were used in it and how dark the sky is. The dark blue really brings out the red in the building.
