Surrealism Examples
Surrealism explores the creativity in the unconscious mind, often based on fantastical dreams. It involves showing the impossible or things that could not happen in real life.
Logan Zillmer -- This photo is surreal because cars do not float in the sky, and there are generally not seven of the same car all in one place.
Trini Schultz -- This photo shows rocks falling from the sky, which is not something that actually happens.
Jacek Yerka -- This painting shows houses stacked on top of each other being ripped from the ground, but houses would not be able to float like that.
Vladimir Kush -- This painting shows surrealism because it shows clouds acting as balloons carrying something, but clouds would not be carrying anything realistically.
